Metzger Vintage Audio was opened by me, Nick Metzger, in February 2021. I’ve been a hi-fi audio enthusiast and collector for over 15 years. Previous to the physical store location I was buying/selling/trading vintage audio pieces in-person and online for 10+ years. The 2020 pandemic made me realize if we were all going to collectively have the strangest year of our entire lives I might as well take a chance and do something new in 2021, so here we are.

My vision for MVA is a place where both total novices and hardcore audiophiles are welcome. I want to share my love and knowledge of vintage audio with everyone—no snobbery here! Vintage audio is fun, interesting, and exciting and I promise to make your shopping experience reflect that.

I’ve teamed up with an excellent crew of repair techs who can repair every type of vintage audio piece, so whether you’ve inherited something from your parents, scored a deal online, or your current piece has conked out, our techs can get it repaired quickly for a fair price.

And speaking of fair prices, if you’re thinking about selling a piece of your vintage audio, I’d be happy to offer you a fair price for it.
