Repairs
We offer repairs on all types of vintage audio pieces including turntables, amplifiers/receivers, tube amps, cassette decks, reel to reel decks, 8-track players, CD players, portable Walkmans, and more! The only items we do not repair at this time are large console (furniture style) units and speaker repair because we simply don’t have space for them!
We have a crew of several technicians who each specialize in different areas of audio repair. For instance, we have a tech who excels in vintage tube gear, a different tech who loves anything solid state, and one other tech who enjoys repairing cassette decks and reel to reels.
Repair starts with a (minimum) $75 diagnostic fee that goes toward the price of your repair. Our tech will inspect your piece and quote a total cost for repair. If you agree to the repair price you pay that price minus $75 upon pickup. For example, if your piece costs $200 to repair you would pay $125 upon pickup. The only way we keep the $75 is if you decide not to repair your piece.
